Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar & City Tour
Welcome to Mongolia! Meet your guide at the airport and start with a relaxed city tour, visit Gandantegchinlen Monastery, Sukhbaatar Square, and the National Museum.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Mongolian dinner and cultural show.

Day 2: Drive to Amarbayasgalant Monastery
Head north through the rolling steppes to reach Amarbayasgalant Monastery, one of Mongolia’s most beautiful and best-preserved Buddhist sites.
Walk among golden rooftops, spinning prayer wheels, and peaceful monks chanting.

Day 3: Visit a nomad family
A scenic drive across green pastures and small nomadic settlements brings you to Bulgan town, then onward to Erdenet, Mongolia’s copper-mining capital surrounded by forested hills.
A comfortable overnight stop before heading deeper north.

Day 4: Arrive at Lake Khuvsgul
Continue north to reach the Blue Pearl of Mongolia, Lake Khuvsgul. Settle into your ger camp on the lakeshore and breathe in the mountain air.

Day 5: Naadam Festival: Opening Day
It’s festival time! Experience Mongolia’s legendary Naadam celebrations with locals.
Witness the colorful opening ceremony, enjoy traditional music, and watch archery and horse racing, an explosion of culture and energy.

Day 6: Naadam Festival: Wrestling Day
The second day focuses on Mongolian wrestling, the most revered Naadam sport.
Cheer on the wrestlers in their bright costumes, mingle with local spectators, and enjoy authentic festival snacks.

Day 7: Journey Toward Central Mongolia
Start your scenic drive south through changing landscapes, from alpine forests to open steppes.
You’ll pass nomadic herder camps and enjoy picnic stops along the way.

Day 8: Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake
Arrive at Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake, a volcanic crater lake surrounded by lava fields and mountains.
Hike up to Khorgo Volcano for panoramic views of the lake.

Day 9: Explore Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake
A relaxing day by the lake, hike, kayak, or visit nomadic families nearby.

Day 10: Tsenkher Hot Springs
Drive east to the famous Tsenkher Hot Springs, tucked between green valleys.
After a long journey, nothing feels better than soaking in natural hot mineral pools under the stars.

Day 11: Tovkhon Monastery Hike
Drive to Tovkhon Monastery, perched high in the Khangai Mountains.
A short but rewarding hike (around 3 hours round trip) takes you to this peaceful mountaintop site with stunning views.

Day 12: Kharkhorin & Erdene Zuu Monastery
Visit Kharkhorin, the 13th-century capital of Genghis Khan’s empire. Explore the Erdene Zuu Monastery, Mongolia’s oldest Buddhist monastery surrounded by 108 white stupas.

Day 13: Return to Ulaanbaatar
Drive back to the capital. Stop at Elsen Tasarkhai (Mini Gobi) for a short camel ride or photos along the way. Farewell dinner together in Ulaanbaatar.
