Day 1:

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Arrive in Mongolia’s capital and meet your guide at the airport. Explore Sukhbaatar Square and Gandantegchinlen Monastery, followed by a welcome dinner.

Day 2:

Ulaanbaatar City Tour

Visit the National History Museum, Bogd Khan Winter Palace, and Zaisan Hill for panoramic views. In the evening, enjoy a traditional folk concert.

Day 3:

Naadam Festival Opening Ceremony

Immerse yourself in Mongolia’s biggest celebration! Witness the grand opening parade, traditional performances, and the first wrestling and archery competitions.

Day 4:

Naadam Competitions & Local Festivities

Attend the horse racing events outside the city, mingle with locals, and taste traditional Naadam snacks like khuushuur. Evening free for exploring the city’s festive atmosphere.

Day 5:

Drive to Baga Gazriin Chuluu (Granite Canyon)

Head south to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a spectacular granite rock formation rising from the steppe (approx. 5 hrs). Visit the ruins of a small monastery and enjoy a hike among the rocks.

Day 6:

Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa Cliffs)

Drive to Tsagaan Suvarga, a natural wonder of colorful limestone cliffs eroded into surreal shapes. Sunset over the cliffs is breathtaking.

Day 7:

Yolyn Am Canyon (Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park)

Journey deeper into the Gobi Desert to Yolyn Am, the “Lammergeiers Valley,” where ice sometimes lingers through summer. Short hike through the gorge and enjoy wildlife spotting.

Day 8:

Khongor Sand Dunes (The Singing Dunes)

Drive to the Khongor Sand Dunes, Mongolia’s largest dunes stretching 180 km. Ride camels, climb to the dune ridge for stunning views, and visit a camel herder family.

Day 9:

Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs

Travel to Bayanzag, famous for its fiery red cliffs and dinosaur fossil discoveries. Walk among the cliffs and enjoy a sunset over the desert.

Day 10:

Ongi Monastery Ruins

Head north through the steppe to the Ongi Monastery, once one of the largest Buddhist centers in Mongolia before its destruction in the 1930s. Explore the ruins and relax by the Ongi River.

Day 11:

Kharkhorin & Erdene Zuu Monastery

Continue to Kharkhorin (Karakorum), the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire. Visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, the oldest Buddhist monastery in Mongolia.

Day 12:

Orkhon Valley – Nomadic Family Stay

Drive into the Orkhon Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend the night with a nomadic herder family — help milk animals, cook together, and share stories under the stars.

Day 13:

Drive Back to Ulaanbaatar

Return to the capital (approx. 6–7 hrs). Stop for souvenirs and enjoy a farewell dinner with your guide and driver.

Transfer to the airport for your international flight home, carrying memories of Naadam cheers, desert sunsets, and nomadic kindness.
